Michelle Licht provides legal advice and assistance to healthcare companies regarding corporate transactions, regulatory and compliance issues, and general and administrative litigation. Michelle’s clients rely on her knowledge and expertise on many legal issues that directly affect their business including medical staff matters and subsequent litigation, Medicare appeals, HIPAA compliance, Certificate of Need acquisition and opposition, Stark and Anti-Kickback Statute compliance, healthcare transactions, and fraud and abuse government investigations.
After graduating from the University of Florida in 2015 with a B.S.B.A. in Economics, Michelle earned her Juris Doctor and Master of Public Health from Emory University where she focused on managed care payment mechanisms, vaccine policy and constitutionality, and drug and medical device development, regulation, and licensing.
Michelle is licensed to practice in Georgia and Florida.
